Call for Papers – C4: TEML

ICCE 2024 Sub-Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning for Mobility of Learners and Learning Experiences (TEML)

formerly known as Classroom, Ubiquitous and Mobile Technology-Enhanced Learning (CUMTEL)

Learning has broken free of the constraints of the traditional classroom environment. Ubiquitous learning, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), metaverse, mobile, wireless, and cloud computing technologies coupled with the artificial intelligence and generative AI have changed the learning and teaching ecosystem and transformed modalities, dimensions and outcomes of learning. This transformation, termed Ubiquitous Learning, is now prevalent in formal and informal learning environments across the globe. TEML advocates educational research that highlights both pedagogical and technological innovations to enhance pedagogical practices in mobile, contextualized, ubiquitous and AI-empowered learning environments. This theme-based conference will present and share the results of current research efforts in this field and future challenges in terms of pedagogy and technologies, as well as socio-technological aspects such as accessibility, scalability, policies, privacy and security, and teachers’ professional development. The scope of the conference will cover but not be limited to the following topics:
