Call for Papers – C2: CSCL
ICCE 2024 Sub-Conference on Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) and Learning Sciences
We invite submissions from researchers who investigate phenomena in the field of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning and Learning Sciences. This sub-conference aims to spark cross-continental dialogues on innovative learning designs that enhance teaching and learning. The dialogues and designs can draw diverse perspectives from educational technology, information science, educational psychology, museum and library science, learning and instructional sciences, computer and cognitive sciences, design research, human-computer interaction, and beyond.
We are particularly interested in research addressing questions such as:
-
How can learning designs contribute to greater societal equity and social justice?
-
How to foster meaningful civic engagement?
-
How to cultivate 21st-century skills?
-
How can technology support the development of disciplinary knowledge and interdisciplinary learning?
-
How can technology provide expansive learning opportunities that develop learners’ interests and promote lifelong learning?
-
What is technology’s role in promoting diversity and access?
In addition to the above questions, we are open to a variety of relevant topics (e.g., how learners collaborate with AI). We welcome rigorous, innovative submissions that contribute to the body of knowledge of the field, from mature or early-stage projects by senior and junior scholars.
